(Hong Kong, 22 August 2023) Intron Technology Holdings Limited ("Intron Technology" or "Group"; stock code: 1760.HK), a leading automotive electronics solutions provider in China, was invited to join and showcase its solutions at the "Microelectronics Ecosystem Conference 2023" hosted by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and Infineon Technologies Hong Kong Limited. The Group highlighted its latest R&D achievements in automotive intelligence，including advanced driver assistance system, smart connectivity controller and intelligent cockpit system, evidencing its comprehensive strengths in product design, technological innovation and R&D capabilities. The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau Mr. Dong Sun, who officiated the opening ceremony of the event, visited Intron Technology's booth and exchanged ideas with the Group's Chairman, co-CEO and Executive Director Mr. Luk Wing Ming on the development of intelligent driving.

The Group is committed to simplifying the design of intelligent vehicles with advanced semiconductor technology, making vehicles more intelligent and effective, and safer. Regarding intelligent solution R&D technology, the Group has completed development of the integrated cockpit-driving controller MADC3.5. As for intelligent network, the Group has developed solutions of Smart Connectivity Controller (SCC) that integrates multiple connectivity technologies to support applications such as V2X, e-Call, and digital keys. In the aspect of intelligent cockpit, it has developed a solution for in-vehicle access to Time-of-Flight (ToF) functions and a middleware solution for associated sensor software, which can provide a better in-cabin human-machine interaction experience. Intron Technology will join hands with more industry partners to export more innovative technologies and product solutions, thereby empower the next-generation platform for customers.
The Microelectronics Ecosystem Conference held today brought together microelectronics industry professionals, key partners in the academic, business and R&D sectors, giving them opportunities to exchange views and helping speed up growth of microelectronics worldwide. It also allowed exhibitors to show the industry their products and solutions, as well as their innovative R&D capabilities.

HKSTP is currently the largest scientific research base in Hong Kong, providing tenants with scientific research facilities, infrastructure, services and planning support. Many high-tech companies have selected to set up base at HKSTP so as to expand their market in Hong Kong and go international at the same time. HKSTP is also the choice of the Group to place its new R&D center in Hong Kong, which is mainly responsible for developing intelligent vehicle software, advanced power semiconductor applications and collaborative robot solutions. It is expected to start operation in November this year and assist the Group in preparing to tap the overseas market alongside Chinese auto brands "going out".
