(11 June 2019, Hong Kong) – Intron Technology Holdings Limited (“Intron Technology” or the “Group”; HKEX: 1760), a fast-growing automotive electronics solutions provider in China, has recently signed a co-operation agreement with CONTACT Software of Germany to introduce the world-leading CIM Database platform that will provide system support and solution services for the informatisation and upgrade of the Group’s R&D technology platform.

CONTACT Software is a German software company that offers product lifecycle management (“PLM”) and engineering collaboration systems, developed locally in Germany. With 30 years of engineering R&D and industry delivery experience serving many internationally renowned automotive electronics enterprises including Bosch, Continental, Denso and Magna, CONTACT Software has demonstrated excellence in data management and engineering collaboration solutions utilising its unique CIM Database system.

The co-operation agreement with CONTACT Software will help enhance the system building capability of the Group’s R&D technology platform and facilitate further integration of the platform in such aspects as technology R&D, project management, process control, engineering collaboration and knowledge-base management. Consequently, the Group will be able to accelerate the process of building an international R&D system as well as the optimisation of its industry technology platform.

Intron Technology has established a unique “asset-light and high-technology” business model in the China automotive electronics industry. The Group’s investment in R&D accounts for more than 5% of its sales revenue each year, exceeding the industry average. The Group has also increased its investment in personnel and resource deployment to strengthen its R&D capability, as well as made use of its flexibility, exceptional creativity and acute market sense to meet customers’ needs and achieve satisfactory business growth.
