(12 November 2018, Hong Kong) – Intron Technology Holdings Limited (“Intron Technology” or the “Group”; HKEX: 1760), a fast-growing automotive electronics solution provider in the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”) and an industry-leading technology enabler, was invited to participate in the 2018 SAE-China Congress & Exhibition (“2018 SAE CCE”) to showcase its innovative solutions in new energy vehicles and smart driving. Mr Sam Qin, the Group’s Technical Director spoke and exchanged insights with other industry specialists during the conference.

SAE CCE is an annual technology congress well-respected in the automotive industry. It focuses on cutting-edge technologies and the hottest industry topics, and serves as a bridge for auto industry players around the world to exchange technological and scientific research results. In its 24th year, SAE CCE continued its tradition of having the share-themed conference and exhibition at the same time. It rallied participating government, industry, academic and research experts as well as end-users to jointly organize the event.  Themed “Gateway to the Future AutoMobility” this year, the event invited auto engineers from around the world presented their research results and together discussed the latest technological trends and development of the industry.

In the keynote forum titled “New Energy and Technology of Hybrid Electric Vehicle”, Mr Sam Qin, the Group’s Technical Director, shared the Group’s experience in developing battery system (including BMS) and the corresponding tangible goals of its functional safety. Illustrating with the Group’s extensive experience, he also explained the key issues encountered in the development process and his outlook of the future development of battery systems and new energy vehicle safety.
